This scene was animated both on paper and in Flash MX. The first shot of the Sand Man was done digitally using a wacom tablet. The boy was animated traditionally on 12 field paper then imported into Flash. This was not easy, I had to clean up the drawings with a marker in order to create vector-based images for coloring. All the backgrounds where done in Flash.

OH, AND I RECNTLY WATCHED MULAN, AND I SAW YA' IN THE CREDITS...

Hey thanks Al, I'll have a few more things up in a short while. I'm also putting together a blog totally devoted to animation drawings so you'll see lot's of stuff from "Mulan" as well as Lilo and Stitch". I'll let you know when it's up.
